2000 Election Results

Candidate Party Electoral Votes Popular Votes

George W. Bush Republican 271 50,456,062

Albert Gore, Jr. Democratic 266 50,999,897

Ralph Nader Green 0 2,882,955

Nader could not possibly have thought that he could win in 2000. Other than ego, what possible motive could he have had to run for the presidency?

Nader has been a consistent bipartisan gadfly to the establishment. A pox on both houses if you will. Harris did not win the popular vote and dipped below Biden's numbers significantly. The DNC has a lot to answer for, but they don't answer. Only a 100 day campaign. Gaza played a role. I was happy to vote for Kamala. Didn't think she would lose this bad. 52% of white women voted for Trump. 58% of Hispanic men voted for Trump. Oh yeah Billionares loaded the dough into superpacs--Citizen's United may be the real culprit. Nader is in his 90s--its surprising he can talk.
